Kathmandu, September 28, 2016: Yeti Airlines has officially banned Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 from being used or powered on during flights.
Issuing a statement, the airlines asked the passengers to not to turn on or charge Samsung Galaxy Note 7 mobile phones on board.
The statement comes after the reports of overheating Note 7 batteries.
The airline has advised the fliers to:
- Not to turn on or charge the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 mobile phones on board.
- Strictly switch off the device in their carry-on baggage.
- Not to put the device in ‘Flight Mode’ during the entire flight, including Landing and Take-off.
- Not to strow the device in their checked-in baggage.
