Kathmandu,4 March 2015: A Nepali karate team is leaving here for London, UK, on Thursday to take part in the ‘UK Open Seminar’ scheduled to be held on coming March 7-8.
Nepali Congress Vice President Ramchandra Poudel bade farewell to the karate team amidst a programme here Wednesday.
The team comprises two players- Binod Maharjan and Mukunda Maharjan- coach Sobhit Raj Prasai and ex-karate player.
Former treasurer of National Sports Council Minkrishna Maharjan is heading the team to the seminar. A total of 60 countries are participating in the event, it is learnt.
