19th December,2014 : The audio service at the media centre of the Constituent Assembly was obstructed today due to protest by the staff working for the Parliament Secretariat on deputation.
As a result, television reporters could not capture the CA proceedings while journalists collecting news from the centre faced 
difficulty.
The 90 staffers working on a deputation at the Secretariat have been demonstration calling for additional facilities in par with the permanent staff of the Secretariat. The permanent staffers of the Secretariat reportedly enjoy an additional 80 per cent allowance.
CA Secretariat Spokesperson Mukunda Sharma said that the Ministry of Finance has already given a positive response to their demands, and hence it was unfortunate that such protest activities are taking place.
Spokesperson Sharma also apologized for the difficulty caused to the media persons.
The Constituent Assembly shall meet next at 11:00 am on coming Sunday.
