Kathmandu,12 March 2015: The Inter-Party Women’s Alliance on Thursday submitted a memorandum to the Home Minister protesting the incident of rape of six year old Puja Sah of Kalaiya in Bara, who died 16 days later undergoing treatment on Sunday.
IPWA Chairperson Mina Pandey led delegation demanded confiscation of all properties and life sentence to the rapist, and suitable reparations for the victim.
Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Bamdev Gautam responded to the memorandum saying the perpetrator would be tried as per the existing law.
