Birgunj (Parsa), Dec 19: Police held a person with a huge catche of hashish and marijuana from Paterwa Sugauli of Parsa.
Acting on a special tip-off, a team deputed from District Police Office Parsa arrested Prabhu Gauro of Paterwa Sugauli-7 with contraband last night after raiding his house.
The police seized 50-kg hashish, 50-kg marijuana and iron-made equipments used to produce hashish, according to the District Police Office.
Deputy Superintendant of Police Bir Bahadur Oli informed that further investigation is undergoing by detaining Gauro in District Police Office Parsa.
Earlier, police nabbed two persons with marijuana from Tulasibarwa VDC of Parsa on Thursday night.
