Salleri (Solukhumbu), Dec 6,2014: The Namuna Primary School at Phorche in Banu VDC in the district has opened after a year. The school had closed due to lack of teachers and students.
The school has come into operation after the District Education Office assigned a female teacher. It runs classes up to grade three only although it has permission to run classes up to grade five. The school has only 13 students at present.
The school lacks students because it is located at a desolate place and amid a sparse settlement, the Chairman of the School Management Committee, Harkadhan Khaling, said.
