Six Nepali Workers Robbed On Border Area

Bhimduttanagar, Dec 3: Six Nepali workers returning home from different cities of India were robbed on border area.

Among the robbed were Lalit Shahi, 17, and Jaya Bahadur Shahi, 20. of Jhapra VDC-2, Jajarkot. The robbers looted Rs 20,000 from each of them. The robbery rook place when they were asleep.

Likewise, Bhupendra Thapa, 19, and Prem Rana Magar, 15, of Khakyankot VDC-5 of Jajarkot were also looted on last Monday while they were returning home from Josimath of Uttarakhand of India.

The robbers had looted Rs 20,000 from them, said Assistant Sub Inspector Rajendra Bahadur Chand.

Meanwhile, Rabindra Nepali and Prakash Nepali of Jhapra VDC, Jajarkot were also robbed at Haldrani Bus Park in India on Tuesday, police confirmed. The robbers took away Rs 12,000 from them.

The robbed Nepali workers were rescued and sent to their home by Sahara Group Nepal, Kanchanpur District Police Office and Mahakali-Seti transport entrepreneurs committee.
