Bhimduttanagar,3 Dec 2014: Minister for Industry, Mahesh Basnet, today visited the proposed industrial corridor at Chhela of Daiji in Kanchanpur district.
The Kanchanpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) familiarized Minister Basnet about the industrial corridor to be established at the Daiji area, said KCCI President Ganesh Dutta Joshi.
After the onsite visit of the proposed corridor, Industry Minister Basnet said that he was very positive and expressed commitment that he would make necessary arrangement for the establishment of the corridor at any cost, said Joshi quoting Minister Basnet.
On the occasion, the KCCI office-bearers told the Industry Minister that doors of development would be opened in the far-west region if the corridor was established at the area and it would ultimately benefit the entire country.
Minister Basnet has arrived in far-western development region to participate at different programmes organised by the chambers of commerce and industry of different districts in the region.
