Humla, 5th February, 2015 : Snowfall has occurred in the district headquarters Simikot for three days.
With the snowfall, daily life has been adversely affected and the air service in the district has been halted for three days.
In addition to it, communication services and power supply have also been obstructed due to the snowfall.
About two feet of snow has accumulated at the airport areas, locals informed.
A joint team of Nepal Army, Nepal Police and locals are now clearing the snow from the airport runway.
