Jumla, Feb 24,2015: The District Police Office here has arrested two persons in possession with a dead red panda, one of the protected wild animals in the country.
While checking passengers in a bus heading to Nagma from the district headquarters, the police found a dead panda, and took the two persons under control.
The arrested were Sarki Bohora, 40, from Malikathata VDC-4, and Bharat Bahadur Sahi, 46, from Chandan Nath municipality.
Later, the police handed both with the dead panda to the District Forest Office.
