Kathmandu, Oct 19: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has expressed his confidence that the issues ensued following the India’s border blockade on Nepal will be resolved soon.
Speaking with the representatives of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) today morning at his official residence at Baluwatar, PM Oli assured that the issues, including the agitation in various districts across southern plains, will come to an end at the earliest.
FNCCI President Pashupati Murarka shared that the visiting members requested with the PM for his positive intervention to resolve the issues, including the ongoing strike and agitation in Terai.
“Prime Minister Oli assured us that the solution to this end will be sought at the soonest,” said Murarka.
The newly appointed PM Oli also said that the government was effortful to resolve the issues in ‘package’, including easing out the transit to Nepal and importing the goods stocked in various Customs Offices at border with India from alternative routes.
The visiting members also included former Presidents of the FNCCI.
