Aug. 3,2015 Kathmandu : On Monday,  Prime Minister Sushil Koirala laid the base stone for a 400-bed ‘mother-child hospital’ to be built by the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan.
As a part of the BPKIHS’ expansion project, the hospital estimated to be completed at the total cost of Rs. 800 million.
Prime Minister Koirala said the government was working to ensure that no Nepali is deprived of basic services like health and education in a brief comment following the foundation stone laying ceremony . He said the parties are working to establish the right to such services in the constitution itself.
