Second International Entrepreneurship Conference Successfully held at Kathmandu

Kathmandu, January 21, 2019:  The Second International Entrepreneurship Conference in the participation of young entrepreneurs of Nepal and India held on Saturday by the Indian Embassy in collaboration with the Clock b. The program was held at Hotel Yak and Yeti  Saturday morning. This conference was able to attract the attention of many entrepreneurs, investors, promoters, business advisers of Nepal and India.

Opening the conference organized by the Indian Embassy and Clock b, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s main political advisor Bishnu Rimal said that the youth of the country are the sources of development.  He said that for the development of the society, new technologies and new planning are required and thus government is ready to cooperate with the youth who are ahead in the use of technology, which is the need for the development of the society. He further adds that the government is planning to include 91 lakhs Nepali youths in the campaign of “Samridhha Nepal and Sukhi Nepal”.

There were over 500 young participants knowledgeable about entrepreneurs, investors, merchants, government representatives, university representatives and entrepreneurship at the conference.

For the conference, 100 applications with the idea of new discovery and plans were collected and out of that 21 best applications which served the best was selected from the social network. The Airlift Technology, Swadeshi Innovation, Offering Happiness, Maker Valley, On School, and the Walkman Green Queen were listed as the selected company.

In the conference, 18 prominent experienced speakers including Aditya Ghosh, Hemraj Dhakal, Ranjit Acharya, Narotam Aryal, Sushil Pokharel, Kapildhwaj Pratap Singh, Kuber Chalise made the presentations regarding the development and possibilities of entrepreneurship.
