Salleri (Solukhumbhu), 3rd February, 2015Â : For the first time, a direct bus service from Solukhumbu to Kathmandu has been operated.
A committee of five bus service operators jointly brought the Solukhumbu to Kathmandu direct bus service into operation after the road was expanded throughout the Solukhumbu district.
According to Atmaram Thapa, one of the bus entrepreneurs, the fare from Solukhumbu to Kathmandu has been determined at Rs 1,400 and passengers can board both the day and night bus service.
