Kathmandu, July 16, 2018: The stock market trade is expected to be online from July 17, 2018 after implementation of Automated Electronic Trading System provisioned under Securities Registration and Issue Regulations, 2075.
According to Securities Exchange Board (SEBON), stock can be traded online when the service is initiated. Before that, traders should have their “username” and “password” through share brokers. Spokesperson of Securities Board of Nepal Niraj Giri mentioned that later, general people can place buy and sell orders from their house, office or anywhere internet access.
However, the software is yet to be tested and installed for online trading by NEPSE.
