May 29, 2015: The government will address the issues raised in the House regarding the quake-hit areas and within Ashad (mid-July) will make arrangement of temporary settlements to those, who became homeless due to the quake, Minister for Law, Justice, Constituent Assembly and Parliamentary Affairs, Narahari Acharya said.
He further added that the relief distributed at the present is only for the emergency relief and the long-term relief still remains to be distributed. Also said Political parties should involve in relief and rehabilitation task by changing the existing government into a national unity government.
No discussion was held regarding formation of a national unity government as was said by the CPN (UML) and the UCPN (Maoist) argued Minister Acharya talking to media persons at Bharatpur Airport today. He said that no problem has surfaced in relief distribution stating that the government would carry out works within a few days for the reconstruction of the quake-hit areas.
