Kathmandu, Nov. 1: President Bidya Devi Bhandari administered the oath of office and secrecy to newly elected Vice-president Nanda Bahadur Pun at a special ceremony held at the Rastrapati Bhawan, Shital Niwas this afternoon.
Also present on the occasion were Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Chief Justice Kalyan Shrestha, Speaker Onsari Gharti, Deputy PMs Kamal Thapa, Bijaya Kumar Gachchadar and Top Bahadur Rayamajhi, former PMs, Ministers, MPs, industrialists and heads and representatives of diplomatic mission.
Pun was elected to the post of the Vice-president by the Legislature-Parliament in the voting that took place on Saturday.
