In the meeting, matters relating to the ongoing constitution drafting process and current political developments were discussed. The delegation arrived here on a three-day visit on Sunday.

UCPN (Maoist) General Secretary Krishna Bahadur Mahara shared that the Chinese team inquired about the latest political development and ongoing constitution drafting process.

Assistant Minister Dou said that China was willing to support the constitution drafting process as per Nepal’s wish. In the meeting, discussions were also held about ways to expand the cordial relations between the two parties, leader Mahara added.

Similarly, the Chinese visiting team called on CPN-Maoist Chairman Mohan Baidya at his party headquarters, Buddhanagar this afternoon.
