Kathmandu, Oct. 19,2014 : The auspicious hour for this year’s Bhai tika is set for 11:35am on coming Saturday.
Chairman of Nepal Panchanga Nirnayak Committee, Professor Dr Ram Chandra Gautam, informed that the auspicious hour for the Bhaitika, the fifth and last day of the Tihar festival, is fixed for 11:35am.
Although, no specific time is needed to receive tika on the day of Bhaitika, the auspicious hour is fixed for those who follow the festival precepts, he added.
The five-day long Tihar festival has beginning of Yamapanchak on Kartik 4 on Nepali calendar this year.
