Kathmandu, 20th February, 2015 :Â The 65th National Democracy Day was marked at Islamabad based Nepali Embassy amid a function on Thursday.
Speaking at the programme, Nepali Ambassador to Pakistan Bharatraj Poudyal highlighted various dimensions of the democracy and democratic system and wished that the nation would move towards the path of peace, progress and prosperity.
Nepalese working in various international organizations in Islamabad, Nepali students and embassy officials were present on the occasion, according to Nepalese Embassy in Pakistan.
The Democracy Day is marked organizing various programmes and lighting candles inside the country and Nepali Embassies outside the country on 17, 18 and 19 February as per the government’s decision.
