Biratnagar, 12 June, 2015 :Â Action has been initiated by Biratnagar Sub-metropolis against eleven people violating the building code while constructing their houses.
Engineer at the Sub-metropolis Gopal Pokharel said, “The action was initiated after they were found neglecting the directive issued by the government since the April 25 earthquake to currently stop issuing permission for building news houses and adding floors to existing one.”
Under-construction houses in Ward no. 1, 2, 3, 13 and 18 has been interrupted for the moment. On the basis of complaints filed by neightbours and after the irregularity was found in monitoring, the action was taken, added Pokharel.
