Kathmandu, April 19, 2017: Arghakhanchi Cement Pvt. Ltd. under their Corporate Social Responsibility has supported “No Horn” regulation in Kathmandu. The company believes that by supporting this campaign noise pollution in Kathmandu valley caused by the increasing number of vehicles and unwanted honking will be reduced.
Kathmandu Metropolitan Traffic Police Department and the Kathmandu Metropolitan City on Baisakh 1, 2074, had announced the regulation of “No Horn” inside the Valley. With this provision, only the emergency vehicles and security vehicles can only use their horns in emergency situations. This initiative will surely receive gratitude from Hospitals, Schools and other institutions, who have been dealing with this issue for a long time.
