Kathmandu, July 10, 2015: The attention of the government have been drawn by the lawmaker towards the prevention of soil-erosion, after the devastating earthquake on April 25 and May 12 and a series of aftershocks thereafter as well as the recent downpour.
As seeking time from the Speaker in the meeting of the Legislature-Parliament today, the lawmakers demanded that the government should start the reconstruction of places of historical and archaeological importance in the Kathmandu Valley that were damaged by the quake.
Further to take the services and facilities to be provided by the government to the earthquake survivors to all the districts and bring programmes for river training in Parbat and Kaski districts.
The lawmakers drawing the government’s attention on these topics include Wangdi Sherpa, Bikas Lamsal, Binda Deevi Alemagar and Prem Suwal.
