Tilottama (Rupandehi),29th December :Â The office of the Community based Rehabilitation Programme for the Blind, Rupandehi, recently distributed four Braille computers and other appliances to the Shanti Namuma Higher Secondary School at Manigram in the district.

This is the first school in the region (district) which has received the computer especially designed for the visually impaired people that has Braille font and the printer prints in the Braille letters.
There are currently 29 visually impaired students studying in the school.
Lauding the exemplary initiative of the Rehabilitation Programme Office, Tek Bahadur Thapa, District Education Officer, Rupandehi, on the occasion believed that such computers will help in the education of the visually challenged students in the schools.
Ghanashyam Gyawali, the principal of the School, said that the aid has further excited the students in pursuing their studies.
