Kathmandu, Jan 10: Various organizations on Saturday feted Chief Justice Ram Kumar Shah.
National Bhaisna Youth Federation, Nepal and Sudi (Saudik) Society and other organizations jointly honoured Chief Justice Shah on his appointment as the Chief Justice.
Harishachadra Shah, the vice-chairperson of the Foundation honoured the Chief Justice who hails from Bhaisnav community.
Addressing the felicitation programme, Shah urged the politicians to deliver the constitution in the stipulated time, ensuring the rights of the people from all caste and creed.
Opining that the social and economic development is stagnant owing to the delay in the delivery of the constitution, Rajendra Mahato, the Chairperson of the Sadvawana Party, said that there is no any alternative to drafting the constitution on time.
Similarly on the occasion, former Minister, Prabhu Shah, underscored the need to press hard the government, civil society and human rights activists among others in a positive manner to deliver the constitution on January 22.
