Kathmandu,27 Nov 2014: The closed session of the 18th SAARC Summit begins at 4:00 pm today.
The Heads of State and of the Government from SAARC nations reached at Dhulikhel for retreat this morning are returning to the capital city this afternoon.
SAARC Chairman and Prime Minister Sushil Koirala will announce the beginning of the closed session of the Summit from 4:00 pm.
The closed session will fix the country and the date for the 19th SAARC Summit. Then, the delegation heads will jointly release the declaration of the 18th SAARC Summit.
PM Koirala is delivering a concluding speech at 4:09 pm, and the head of the State/Government holding the next Summit will give a vote of thanks.
The Summit formally comes to an end with the PM’s announcement at 4:22 pm.
After the conclusion, the delegation heads will have a photo session (group) to be later joined by the foreign ministers and secretaries of the SAARC nations.
