Dahal Warns Of Creating A Million People's Army To Teach A Lesson

Itahari,6 Feb 2015 : UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has warned of preparing a million people’s army to show the capability of the people and teach a lesson to Nepali Congress and CPN (UML) whom he termed as ‘grave conspirators’.

UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Dahal issued the warning at the Eastern Command Special Training programme held by the party in Sunsari during which the party activists were familiarized on the structure and strategy of the impending agitation programmes.

He urged the party activists to write pamphlets with revelations on NC and UML within the next one month and present it to the people. The leader said it was necessary to adopt equal and proportionate measures to counter the strategies of the ruling parties to sideline the opposition.

Dahal accused the two largest parties of ensnarling UCPN (Maoist) in a serious conspiracy and an act of deceit by encouraging it of heading for the second Constituent Assembly elections by promising security.

He lambasted UML for being the major cause of obstruction of the promulgation of the people’s constitution from the previous CA.

In the training that lasted one and half hour, Dahal spent most of the time pointing towards the activities of former King Gyanendra and UML Chairman KP Oli and slammed the latter for creating a situation averse to delivery of a new constitution from the current CA.

At the party training programme, party vice-chairman and the Eastern Command coordinator Narayan Kaji Shrestha and other party leaders and cadres spoke on the strategy adopted by the party and its future course of action in the present context. Prahlad Budhathoki presided over the training programme.
