Gajuri (Dhading), Sept 30: Speaker of Legislature-Parliament, Subas Nembang has said that the effective implementation of the newly promulgated constitution was equally challenging as was its promulgation.

Inaugurating a newly-built building of the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ), Dhading chapter in Gajuri today, Speaker Nembang urged for unity amongst all Nepalis for the effective implementation of the new national charter.

Refuting the accusation the new constitution lacked the endorsement from the Constituent Assembly (CA) members belonging to Madhesi, indigenous communities, Dalit and Tharu community, Nembang clarified that of the total 537 CA members signing the new constitution, 154 were female CA members, 169 were from indigenous and nationalities communities, 23 from Tharu, 91 from Madhesi, 36 Dalit and four from Muslim.

Citing the facts and figures, he argued that the new constitution was inclusive as it represented all sections of society, including Madheshi and Tharu.

Nembang also inaugurated the fifth annual general assembly of the FNJ- Dhading Chapter chaired by Nawaraj Chhatkuli, Chairperson of FNJ-Dhading Chapter.

On the occasion, FNJ- Dhading Chapter feted Speaker Nembang as well as CA members as Rajendra Prasad Pandey, Gangadhar Tuladhar, Guru Prasad Burlakoti, Dhan Bahadur Ghale, Dilman Pakhrin, Parashupram Tamang, Rabindra Pratap Shah for their contribution in promulgation of the new constitution.
