Kathmandu, May 17, 2017: A unique kind of bike tour is going to be organized in Nepal, in which CEOs of Nepali startup companies will go on a 3-day tour to Pokhara.

Being organized by Everest School of Startups (ESOS), the activity will see the participation of dozens of Nepali startup founders as well as successful and renowned young entrepreneurs from India.

The tour will flag off from Maitighar, Kathmandu on Friday, June 2 at 7:00 in the morning. The bikers will have a stop and rest of 10 minutes after every 50 Kms of journey, have a tea Break for a half hour at 10:00 AM, and a lunch break for one and half hour at 1:00 PM. In the journey, every biker will maintain a speed of 40Km/hour and ride together with fellow startup folks.

After reaching Pokhara, the bikers will check in at Bajeko Sekuwa Pokhara Branch and take their rooms, take hot bath and rest for one hour, assemble for dinner, network with fellow CEOs and go for sleep.

Next morning, after the breakfast, the participants will assemble in the conference room of the restaurant for the event ‘Prestige Talks Episode 3’, a monthly Talk show by ESOS.

On the talk programme, Mr. Ridhinil Roy, Founder and CEO of Connective+ (a leading campus startup platform in India) will deliver speech on ‘Digital Entrepreneurship & Its Scopes’. Similarly, Rajnish Jha and Gopi Mahato will be having a presentation session on Corporate Identity. Likewise, another session by Krishna Pokharel and Rojina KC will see discussion on Promotion and Branding for Startups.

After 2:30 PM all the participants will be free to roam around Pokhara at their own will, or in groups.

At night, all the attendees will have an experience based feedback and activity session that will be followed by some party and celebration that will include dancing, singing, and cultural activities

On 4th June, the CEOs will get ready to travel back from Pokhara to Kathmandu at 10: 00 AM in the morning, with the same rules and regulations as on the first day. After reaching Kathmandu in the evening, each will say goodbye to fellow startup CEOs and next day start working at their respective offices.

Speaking about the idea of organizing such a programme, Aarif Shafi Khanyari, CEO/Founder of ESOS says, “The Idea of organizing this event came in my mind after working closely with the startup community in Nepal. It is meant to take them on a trip together to realize them the journey of entrepreneurship, and how an entrepreneur has to go through hardships after kick-starting a venture, and finally reaching his/ her destination. This event will be altogether a new experience of riding and travel in perspective of startup.”

This is the season one of the Startup Tour that will be held on an annual basis.

Glocal Khabar is the official online media partner for the event.
