Birgunj, 8th February, 2015 : A police patrol team deployed from the Area Police Office, Sedawa, has confiscated 50 kilogrammes of hashish from Jitpur VDC of Parsa district.
According to the District Police Office, Parsa, the amount of the prohibited drug was seized while it was being smuggled to India from Manahari of Makawanpur via Charkoshe Jhadi in Parsa district.
The team led by Sub-inspector Parmananda Yadav confiscated 50 kilogrammes of hashish. The smuggler managed to run away after he saw the police personnel coming towards him.
Similarly, a team headed by Sub-inspector Ramesh Regmi deployed from Inarwa based Police Post arrested two Indian nationals along with 50 kg silvers last night.
Umesh Sah and Prabhu Sah Kalbar of Raxaul, India, are among the arrested.
