Similarly, Okhaldhunga district administration has declared emergency area to five vdcs linked to the Bhotekoshi River.
The emergency meeting of the disaster rescue committee in the district announced the downstream areas of Palapu, Balakhu, Sisneri, Toksel and Thakle VDCs on Saturday.
Palapu-5, Nawalpur, Balakhu-6 and 7, Balakhubensi, Katuwabesi, Molugdovan of Sisneri-6, Toksel-1 and 2, Harkapur, Majhugaon, and Ward No 8 and 9 of Thakle have been declared the emergency areas, said the officiating Chief District Officer, Pramod Kumar Chaudhari.
A command post was also constituted in the district consisting security persons, political parties and related offices for rescue.
