June 1,2015: Government of Nepal stated that 300,000 classrooms of community schools will be constructed within 3 years.
Secretary at the Ministry of Education Bishwa Prakash Pundit said in a program in Kathmandu that the government had initiated construction works aimed at reconstructing the damaged building of the community schools.
He also added that the buildings will be made earthquake resistance.
Speaking in the program Hissan chairman Umesh Shrestha said that 75 per cent students have turned up after schools reopened on Sunday.
Other speakers in the program said that there is immediate need of psychological treatment to the students.
