Chitwan,12 March 2015: In a bid to maintain caution against rising cases of swine flu in Chitwan, a help desk has been established at Bharatpur Hospital.
Hospital’s Medical Superintendent Bijay Poudel inaugurated the help desk on Thursday and said that the desk was set up after the number of swine flu patients increased sharply in the district. According to a report, a total of 27 patients have been tasted positive to swine flu (H1N1 virus) as of today.
The hospital said that the help desk would support in accessible service delivery to the patients.
Likewise, a response team has been readied under the leadership of Dr Raju Basnet to provide treatment for the swine flu affected. Dr Bhojraj Adhikari is also in the team of experts for swine flu treatment.
The hospital said that currently two swine flu patients are receiving treatment in an isolation ward.
Likewise, the Bharatpur Hospital has urged the commoners not to hesitate to visit the hospital for treatment in case of swine flu symptoms adding that free treatment is offered to the patients.
