Kathmandu, June 6, 2015: As in the beginning week of the campaign, a large number of people participated in the Bagmati Clean-up Campaign today after the number of people have decreased due to the devastating earthquake occurred on April 25 and the aftershocks. The campaign, launched on May 18, 2013, has reached to 108th week today.
Various personnel were participated in the campaign like Nepal Army, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force personnel, civil servants and representatives from different social and business organizations.
From the premises of Pashupati Ramnagar temple this morning a total of 15 metric tonnes of garbage was collected.
Ending the programme hief Secretary Leelamani Paudyal said that they were thinking to continue the campaign in a new fashion.
