Mahottari, September 23, 2015: In Gaushala of Mahottari district, an armed group of robbers looted properties worth Rs 2.5 million of a family yesterday night.
The house of Ganesh Mohan Shah, the owner of Uma Rice Mill of Gaushala Municipality-8 was robbed by the group of 20 persons, the victims said.
The burglars broke into the house after collapsing a wall behind the house and stole 10 tola gold and silver, Rs 300,000 in cash and other properties according to Shah. The gang also fired two rounds inside the house.
By keeping Sah’s three-year-old son Krish Kumar in captive, the group looted the properties.  Investigations and a search for the involved in the incident have been launched, Police Inspector Machchhindra Babu KC said.
