Chitwan, 3 August, 2015: As a tourism area, the bank of Narayani River in Narayanghat is being facilitated by solar panel  and the stakeholders are working for the same.
For the splendid beauty of the landscape on the bank of holy river, a large number of domestic tourists gather in the riverbank.
Keeping in mind the visitor’s flow on the riverbank, The Chitwan Chamber of Commerce and Industry is also working for the promotion and protection of the area.
For making the place as the tourism area,  a part of income from the Chitwan Festival would be used . Likewise,as a step forward in the mission to develop it as a tourism and recreational center, 45 solar panels have been installed recently on the riverbank.
According to Senior vice-chair of Chitwan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sahanlal Pradhan, the solar panels were installed with Rs 4.6 million plus monetary help  from the Alternative Energy Promotion Center and Tourism Department.
