Rukum, Jan 26: A person died in a road accident at Jyamire rivulet at Musikot in Rukum district this morning.
The deceased has been identified as Yakya Bahadur KC, 35, of Musikot-3, according to the District Police Office, Rukum.
The accident took place when a tractor (Lu 2 Ta 5253) heading towards Solabang from Raukhet fell some 150 meters from the road at 7:30 am, said Deputy Superintendent of Police, Govinda Thapaliya.
Similarly, Tul Bahadur Oli of the same place was injured in the accident and he has been referred to Nepalgunj for further treatment after primary treatment at the District Health Office.
The driver has been absconding and search for him was underway, added Police.
