April 8,2015:Â The registration of food related cases has risen over the years with the increasing level of awareness in customers.
In-charge of Regional Office of Food and Quality Control, Rabindra Jha said that in far-Western region, the filing of food related cases has increased every year with increased market monitoring on the part of Office of Food and Quality Control conducted by raised public awareness.
During the first 8 months of current fiscal year 42 cases related to food were registered at the office, as per the source.
As informed by the office, last year only 38 cases were  registered. And out of total recorded cases, Kailali is in highest number while Achham and Dadeldhura has one each.
