Revolving fund setup for reinstatement of school

Myagdi, Dec. 1: A migrant worker from Myagdi district, who is currently residing in the United States, has established a revolving fund of Rs 210,000 for the academic development of the Jhima-based Mahendra Secondary School based in the district.

Prithvi Man Garbuja of Jhima provided the amount for establishing the revolving fund on Monday amid a programme on the school premises.

School headmaster Yam Sherpunja said Garbuja offered the amount to support the bright and students from poor financial background through the revolving fund.

Garbuja, who is living in the US for almost two decades now, also provided sports materials including volleyball, basketball, football and 12 pieces of jerseys to the school as well as music set worth Rs 46,000.

On the occasion, the school honoured Garbuja for his philanthropic contribution. RSS
