May 18, 2015: A search for the people missing in the landslide is going on at Rasuwagadhi.
The Nepalese Army, Nepal Police and Chinese Armed Police Force personnel are involved in the search and rescue operation.The task of clearing the debris from the customs and the immigration offices which were buried by the landslide and the road is going ahead enthusiastically.
The Nepalese Army’s Narayandal Battalion said that while clearing the debris two additional bodies of employees apart from the two customs employees were found and two more customs office employees are still missing.
Similarly, it is said that a huge landslide that fell from some 500 metres above have also covered 11 containers in the customs area. Therefore, it is still not known how many people were in the containers.
