June 11,2015 : On Wednesday a truck carrying four of the big fish blew a tire and ran off the highway where a shark diedÂ in a Florida traffic accident Â which were driven to an aquarium.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol ,The sharks were being driven to an aquarium in New York City from Marathon, Florida, when the tractor-trailer transporting them ran off of Interstate 95 near Oak Hill.
Meanwhile one tank was damaged, leading to the animal’s death. whereas the sandbar sharks had been placed in separate tanks in the trailer. In the same way the three people in the vehicle were not hurt.
The rest of the sharks were moved to its facility by aÂ SeaWorld rescue team from Orlando untill the transportation arrangement will be made.
As per the team memberÂ Jim Kinsler the remaining sharksÂ each about 5 feet long, are in good condition. Further he told thatÂ “Sharks require good water conditions and appropriate space and care during travel,”
Kinsler told News 13 Orlando.
