Gaushala, Dec 2,2014: On the occasion of the World AIDS Day on Monday, the district AIDS coordination committee provided awareness and counseling on HIV/AIDS to the people at the border area of Mahottari district.
The people at Bhittamod, Matihani and Samsi bordering to India were made aware on the symptoms and risk of the HIV/AIDS. They were instructed how to avoid from unsafe sexual behaviour.
Chief District Officer, Dipak Kafle, said even the youths opting for foreign employment were made aware on the fatal disease.
The District Public Health Office, Mahottari, Blue Diamond Society, and RDF, among other institutions organized the counseling programme focusing youths in the border area, informed Chief of Public Health Office, Ram Parikchhan Yadav.
