Parasi, Feb 11,2015: A jeep driver was killed and two others injured in a road accident at Pratappur-4 in Nawalparasi district Tuesday night.
The deceased has been identified as Kisan Neupane, 34, of Rupauliya-5 in the district, according to the District Police Office, Nawalparasi.
The accident took place when a jeep (Lu1Ja2469) heading towards Mahalbari from Pratappur fell below the road into the Gandak canal. Police said that both the injured are undergoing treatment at the Nawalparasi-based Chaupatta Community Hospital.
