Kaski,20 Nov 2014: Minister for Urban Development Dr Narayan Khadka has said that the government was ready to promulgate a new constitution on the slated time even through the voting process.

Speaking in a press meet organized by the Nepal Press Union Kaski chapter today, Minister Khadka said that the perspective of other political parties including the UCPN (Maoist) were wrong as they were saying that they would not accept the voting process even though they are accepting the democratic process.

He further urged the civil society to be alert against the parties and their activities that were against the timely constitution.

Speaking on a different note, Minister Khadka urged all not to obstruct the developmental activities and not to conduct party-guided politics in such activities.

Minister Khadka said that the country should not be held a hostage in the name of consensus.

He said that the Ministry is preparing to develop Pokhara as an international standard touristic city.

He said the Ministry is ready to begin the construction of a bus park if the locals supported it.

Similarly Nepali Congress lawmaker Sharada Poudel said she would be active to forge consensus among the political parties for the development of Pokhara.
