Bardiya, March 15: A total of 1,500 people had their heart checkups in a free heart checkups camp organised in Bardiya.
The camp was organised by Jayanti Memorial Trust, Rural Women Development and Unity Centre and Sathi organisation with support from Sahid Gangalal National Heart Centre, Kathmandu, and Nepalgunj Medical College.
A team of 27 medicos led by cardiologists Dr Rabi Malla and Ramesh Koirala provided the health services in the camp. Of the patients, 100 have been referred to the capital city for further treatment. The patients were also provided with free medicines.
