Wildlife Rescue Centre to come into operation

Kanchanpur,2 Nov 2014: The Wildlife Rescue Centre is soon to be brought into operation in various of the country, thanks to the initiation of the Environment Conservation Education Network.

The organization, working in the realm of the conservation of bio-diversity and its studies, is operating such a centre in Kanchanpur, Bardia, Banke, Nawalparasi and Chitwan.

The Secretary General of the Network, Bheshraj Pokharel believed that the establishment of such centres will help in the rescue and the treatment of the injured wild animals.Three such centres will be operated in different parts of Kanchanpur,”  informed Pokharel.

Apart from the rescue centre, the Network is also planning to run a library and Information Centre on the biodiversity.
