Parasi, April 24, 2015: Installation of a wind power in the remote hilly Dhaibadi VDC in the district have provided happiness to locals of the area.
The electricity have been supplied to 60 countries through the windmills which have been installed at Rudrapur of Dhaibadi VDC for the first time in the country.
The windmill generates 12 kilowatts powers. And 10 kilowatts is generated from wind and the rest is from solar power, from the total of generated powers.
With the objective of developing Dhaibadi as a model village in terms of renewable energy,the wind and solar power generation plants have been installed by the Asian Development Bank two years back.
