Biratnagar, 10 June, 2015 :Â Local of eastern Terai that were reeling under intense heat since past week have got some relief due to the early morning rain.
Life had been severely hit with people’s mobility confined to either in the morning or in the evening.
The morning rain along with breeze has provided some respite to the locals. The slight rain is also expected to benefit the farmers.
Local agriculture office has said, “The rain today will benefit the maize crop, the chaite paddy and well as to farmers who want to plant paddy saplings for the upcoming paddy cultivation season.”
