April 3,2015: Â The rural area of Myagdi Â have been awarded with incentives by the entrepreneurs using electricity generated from micro hydropower projects.
The donation has been provided to rural entrepreneur by the Sustainable Rural Livelihood Promotion Programme appliedÂ by the District Energy and Environment Section and Dhaulagiri Community Resource Development Center, Baglung through Alternative Energy Promotion Centre (AEPC) .
Last year,the AEPC had helped by donating Rs 10,000 each to 20 local entrepreneurs. Coordinator Shalikram Sharma said that Â this year the helpÂ has been increased to Rs 50,000 each to 15 entrepreneurs using energy generated from local hydro power
The donation provided are utilized for their business on bread manufacturing, computer education, tailoring, poultry, fresh house, mobile and furniture.
