Ilam, Sept 7: The BP Chintan Prathisthan, Ilam, has organised a three-day BP Thought Journey in Ilam from today to commemorate the 101st birthday first of Koirala, the first democratically elected prime minister of Nepal.
Ilam President of Prathisthan, Himalaya Karmacharya, said that the journey started from Ilam Municipality-based BP Park will conclude on Tuesday after reaching Mangalbare.
More than 1,000 people including district-based Nepali Congress leaders, cadres and well-wishers have participated in the journey.
The journey was started after organising a corner meeting at Ilam Chowk bazaar. Corner meetings would be organised at different places during the journey, said Karmacharya.
